Explore a shifting world in Land Sliders, a casual arcade game

The controls in the game are simple and are just made for touch screens. Instead of moving the character around, you’ll be moving the terrain by swiping your finger. Your character will always remain centered on the screen because of this, and while it sounds easy, it does take some time to get used to. Since enemies will stick on you once alerted to your presence, it’s important to have a good handling of the controls to escape them before it’s too late. Sometimes, you can get power-up items that make you invulnerable for a short time — use these to your advantage to get rid of threats.

There is only one game mode in Land Sliders, and the objective is to rack up as many points as you can by exploring and collecting objects that are scattered around on the level. Once you find all of the objects, you can then find the spot that allows you to proceed to the next level and continue your hunt for those items, which are different for each character that you can play as. However, players still need to watch out for dangers that are on the map, such as roaming grizzly bears, dinosaurs, and even prickly cactuses rolling around in wagons mysteriously. If any foes or dangerous objects touch your character, then your run ends and you’ll have to try again, attempting to beat your previous high score. Occasionally, there are quests that you can take on as well, giving you a different goal to strive for to earn rewards.

Land Sliders has a gorgeous visual style that reminds me a bit of what you would find in The Mesh due to the 3-D models of characters, though not as elegant. In fact, Land Sliders has a much more cartoonish look and feel to it, and that’s okay. The colors in the game are bright and vibrant, so everything is pretty pleasing aesthetically. The finer details and textures in the various environments are done well too, and the animations are smooth and fluid. The soundtrack is rather soothing and calming too, which helps put you at ease while playing.

While I consider myself to be slightly more than just a “casual gamer,” I will admit that every now and then, I will enjoy the heck out of one of these casual mobile games that many hardcore gamers mock at times. Sometimes I just want to turn my brain off and have a bit of fun without worrying about anything, you know? We’ve all been there. I didn’t get into Flappy Bird at all when it was the big craze, but I did spend a fair bit of time with Crossy Road before I dropped that like a cold turkey as well. When I saw previews of Land Sliders, I just knew I had to get my hands on it and give it a go — it would keep me busy for a bit, right?

The Best and for Time Management

Nearly everyone has difficulty with time management–no matter who they are or what they do for a living. Even people who try to run their lives by a certain schedule can have a tough time staying on task, showing up on time and remembering their everyday goals. There are numerous reasons for this. The biggest reason for it is that, due to tablets and smart phones, we have so many different distractions at our fingertips that are just begging for our attentions daily. In this article we are going to teach you how to use that iphone or iPad as a time management tool rather than as a time management wrecking ball.

Instapaper is worth checking out. Instapaper is an application that works with cell phones, tablets and on computers too. It’s a “read later” software that will save you a great deal of time. How often during the day do you encounter a fascinating article or web site that you really would like to explore but don’t have the time to dedicate to it? How many times have you thrown off your entire schedule by reading or looking at it anyway because you knew you will not remember it later? Instapaper can be incorporated with Twitter and a number of other programs and save all of the links you would like to explore for a later time. The links get saved to one main account. This means that you could use any device you want (mobile phone, tablet, computer) to catch up and look through them when you have the time.

Wunderlist is a fantastic program. This is a basic to-do list application but it is not bogged down by lots of complicated interfaces or graphics. Each day it is possible to sit down to this software and then enter all of the things that you want to do during the day. It’s free. In addition to being user friendly, it is simple to sync with numerous devices. Just train yourself to check the application as often as you check your email and you will quickly see just how much simpler it is for you to keep on task.

Evernote is super great and helpful. It’s a central place to manage just about all: your emails, downloads, photographs, notes, thoughts, etc. It may be synced between devices–including a computer–and is extremely easy to integrate with other programs like Wunderlist. The only real downside of this application is that it isn’t absolutely free. You could pay a monthly subscription fee of five dollars or get a year of service for forty five dollars.

Agenda is an invaluable calendar app. There are numerous reasons this is true but the main reason it is true is that it may be synced both to iCalendar (the calendar iPhones and Macs use) and Google Calendar. This makes managing a calendar a lot easier for people with PCs and iPhones because they will just have to key in their information into one place and it is readily available on all their devices. Additionally, it looks excellent.

There are so many different time management tools you can use. We feel these are the best but if you do a little homework you will find several others.
