The Apple Mini-DVI to DVI adaptor was specifically designed for use with the latest 12 inch PowerBook G4 (models introduced in September 2003). Connect the adaptor to the Mini-DVI port of the PowerBook G4 12 inch and the DVI end of the adaptor to an external DVI monitor or to the optional Apple DVI to ADC Adaptor (available separately) to connect to an Apple Studio Display 17 inch, Apple Cinema Display 20 inch or Apple Cinema HD 23 inch.
