EPSON provide a range of interfaces, which can be used to extend the connectivity of your printer.

Your choice depends on your requirements for the printer, and your existing hardware. If the printer is to be run from a single computer, you may wish to consider USB or FireWire.

If the printer is to be shared however, LocalTalk or Ethernet may be a more applicable option. The range of interface cards includes: Serial, Parallel, Ethernet, LocalTalk, Coax, Twinax, Token Ring and FireWire.

For the majority of printers, the new interface is simply a push fit installation into the option interface slot - the printer automatically recognises the new interface.

Ethernet Interfaces
EPSON provide a range of ethernet interfaces, and these support the majority of network operating systems including Novell, Microsoft NT, UNIX and AppleTalk.
