The SP4880 series large format printer incorporating UltraChrome K3 ink with Vivid Magenta for colour critical printing applications such as, contract and imposition proofing, photography, limited edition fine art print making.

To complement the enhancements introduced by UltraChrome K3VM, the 4880 series printer use Epson's new Image Processing Technology, a new image half toning algorithm that produces smoother tones and more detail for even better print quality in both high and low resolution print modes.

Epson's Image Processing Technology further minimises print quality differences between print modes, resulting in greater colour consistency. Smoother gradations and improve the accuracy of colour reproduction across all media.
